Regimental Affiliations
Officially sanctioned alliances are established to foster fraternal connections between military organizations and units. As a result of the connection established prior to 1946 between the Prince Edward Island Light Horse and the 9th Queen's Royal Lancers and between the Prince Edward Island Highlanders and The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment), the Prince Edward Island Regiment (RCAC) contimues to enjoy an affiliation with the 9th/12th Royal Lancers (Prince Of Wales's) and The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment).
